Monday Night FIBER ARTS Circle – All welcome!
Please note: The library is closed on February 20th, so there will be NO knitting on this night.
The Knitting Club has a new name. It’s called Sticks & Thread and is open to all kinds of fiber arts (knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross stich, weaving, tatting, sewing, quilting. macramé, applique, lace making, tapestry, needlepoint bead weaving, smocking, and more!) The circle meets every Monday night from 6:30 – 7:30 PM All are welcome to attend. No sign up required. Just come on down to the library and make friends with other fiber art crafters!
On Monday night, February 13th from 6:30 – 7:30 PM there will be a demonstration on steeking which is a very cool (and brave) knitting technique of cutting a piece of knitted work in half (usually for a zipper). If you are interested in learning more about this technique, we hope you’ll join us! All ages and skill levels welcome!
