Equipment we have that you can borrow
We lend a Telescope (for one week). We also have a Kindle Touch and Fire, Nook Color, and a Kobo eBook reader, as well a Sansa Fuze MP3 player and an iPod to try out downloadable audiobooks and/or ebooks, and 3 Kill a watts that let you find out how much electricity your appliances are using. Most are set at the same 3 week loan period you get for most of our other materials. We have two laptops, a chromebook, and an iPad, that you can use IN THE LIBRARY, with a library card.
For those who are homebound, we offer book delivery service. Just call the library and let us know what you want. There is a program through the state for free mail delivery as well, and now a new program allowing handicapped individuals free downloadable audiobooks (in addition to NHDB, which are free with your library card downloadable audios and ebooks). Call us for more information at 603-863-2172.
To receive announcements of programs and new books via e-mail send a request to email@example.com.
All library-sponsored events are free and open to the public. For book groups, we will refer your contact information to the chair of that particular group.
Many of our events are generously sponsored by the Friends of the Dunbar Free Library. For more information on these events, please contact the Dunbar Free Library 603-863-2172.
